Does it work with my car? ⌄
If your car was manufactured after 2001, it has an OBD-II port — this is a legal standard for all vehicles sold in Europe and the US. ROMGPS works with virtually all petrol, diesel, and hybrid vehicles made after that year.
How long does installation take? ⌄
Under 10 seconds. Find the OBD-II port under your dashboard, plug in the device, download the app, and your car is live on the map. No tools, no technician, no wiring required.
Do I need a subscription? ⌄
The device comes with a 12-month SIM card included — no extra cost for the first year. After that, you can renew for a small annual fee. No hidden charges, no long-term contracts.
Will it drain my car battery? ⌄
No. The device is engineered with ultra-low power consumption. You can leave it plugged in indefinitely — even when the car is parked for extended periods — without any risk to your battery.
Can I move it between cars? ⌄
Yes, absolutely. Simply unplug it from one OBD port and plug it into another. The device is fully transferable between vehicles with no reconfiguration needed.
What happens in a tunnel or underground car park? ⌄
The device uses both GPS and cellular network positioning. In areas without GPS signal it automatically switches to network-based location and resumes full GPS tracking as soon as signal is available.
